The crew of the bursting Burger Project is sailing in stormy seas under the command of Captain Karagiozis of the known puppeteer Elias Karellas. They sail for the "The Island of Roques ", a contemporary performance of shadow theater, first seen at the festival Karagiozis Music Project 1 last September, for an adult audience on the stage of Trianon.
Based on the old traditional comedy titled "The Wreck of Barbagiorgos" or "Karagiozis in the land of Rogues" was recorded by Sotiris Spatharis in 1955 and rose to curtain of many other good puppeteers.
On the occasion of their meeting, Elias Karellas and the band Burger Project, revised the classic comedy with a contemporary look and updated satire. In the show we listen to many known and beloved musical adaptations of the band and rearranged traditional tunes of shadow theater.
