Award winning pianist and singer Karrin Allyson, moves with the same ease and authority from the music of Gershwin and Porter, to Monk, Coltrane, French song, the music of Brazil.
She recorded her first album “I didn't know about you” in 1992 and since then she has released thirteen albums. Her latest, titled “Round midnight” has gotten rave reviews and has two nominations for multiple Grammy as a singer and pianist.
She lives in New York and makes many appearances. She plays in prestigious jazz festivals, music halls and clubs around the world and makes tours in Brazil, Japan, Australia, Europe. She comes for the first time in our country to give a concert.
