Fifteen years now Steve Lucky and his band, the Rhumba Bums are the hallmark of the most explosive jump swing and more upbeat rhythm and blues that sounds this time both in America and around the world.
Steve Lucky has a long history in the blues scene in Detroit and New York, playing with legends like Johnny Copeland, Odetta, John Hammond, Carey Bell and others. In 1993 he moved to San Francisco where he established the Rhumba Bums. The group was brought to completion with the bursting Carmen Getit, who sings and plays guitar.
The two, with their unique chemistry, humor and ease of interpretation, revive a variety of musical styles of the 40's and 50's. They always however keep in touch with today and their audience, as they have already demonstrated in previous concerts in our country.
