Guitarist Lurrie Bell has a major presence in the history of modern blues and his discography from the 70's is one of the most powerful doses of authentic Chicago blues. He expressed himself through the shape of “Sons of the Blues” as well as with historic collaborations with big names such as his father Carey Bell or Koko Taylor.
Matthew Skoller in his long artistic path, has become one of the most sought contemporary blues-men, as his sound carries on the legacy of the great Little Walter and the legendary Sonny Boy Williamson II. In his playing he has a distinctive personal approach that combines strength and lyricism, making the sound of the harmonica to be most unique and authentic.
The two musicians will gather at the stage of Half Note together with Blues Cargo, one of the longest standing patterns in the Greek music scene. Blues Cargo move in the field of electric blues since mid eighties and have left behind them only good impressions and reviews. They have given hundreds of concerts and have two albums, “First Delivery” and “Delayed Delivery”, with 15 years difference between them, which stand for their quality.
