Imany comes from Comoro Islands and her real name is Nadia Mladjao. She grew up in the suburbs of Paris and singing was her dream from her childhood. But then no one thought that her voice was good. She was only told that she was strong and she believed that singing did not fit her.
When she was 18 years old she went to New York to become a model and soon became popular. But she never forgot her love for singing, she returned to Paris, changed her name to “Imany” which means “faith” in Swahili, and decided to deal with music.
Her first performances created fans and gave her good reviews. She accordingly recorded her first album “The Shape of a Broken Heart” in 2011 and managed to surprise Europe with her special and expressive voice. The song “You will never know” was loved from the first time and became a great success.
Imany will be in Athens for two nights, at the stage of Gazarte, live, bringing her songs ... and her faith in dreams that come true .. “You will never know ..”
