Pianist of hard bop and soul, recently became 81 years old, born March 20, 1936, he has worked with music legends.
He has recorded a lot of great albums and in 2014 he launched the album “Afro-Blue”, with participation of artists such as Jeremy Pelt, Steve Turre, Peter Bernstein, Norah Jones, Jane Monheit and Kurt Elling.
