One day a shy girl from Philadelphia was sweeping the yard singing softly "Summertime", when a guitarist and composer of Philadelphia International Records heard her. He was so impressed by her voice, that he arranged an audition and hired her in his band. It was the beginning of the career of Denise King.
She has since then appeared in festivals and concerts throughout the world, has collaborated with artists such as Roy Hargrove, Cecil McBee, Christian McBride and with pop singers including Celine Dion and has presented personal albums. She loves music without boundaries, gospel, blues, jazz, r & b, pop.
