Brass band from the Balkans with trumpeter Bojan Ristic as leader and creator. He comes from a family with great musical tradition and started playing trumpet since he was 7 years old.
In 1999 he won the award for Best Young trumpeter and since then he has continued to win awards.
With his orchestra, Gold Melos Brass, he participated in the performances "The Sound of the Balkans" in Odeon of Herodes Atticus in 2004 and later at Thessaloniki Concert Hall with Savina Yannatou & the Primavera En Salonico, Turkish percussionist Burhan Ocal with his band and the 20-member chorus of Bulgarian voices "Angelite".
His professional career began in 2005 and his band was now called Bojan Ristic Brass Band and began giving concerts in Europe.
Their performances contributed to their establishment and in 2007 they appeared before an audience of 100,000 in Belgrade. The following year they gave more than 50 concerts in different parts of Europe, whereas up to date they have issued five albums.
The band carries the great musical tradition of sounds and rhythms of Roma of central and southeastern Europe. At times however Ristic incorporated elements of latin or even jazz, without betraying its traditional sound of brass.
