She lives in the City of Light and has won fans and critics with her performances and stage presence.
She does not deal only with music. Her studies include piano and trumpet lessons, but also classical and contemporary dance and drama.
Born in Pennsylvania she went to Paris in 2006. She participated in the musical "Cabaret" directed by Sam Mendes, which was played for two years at the Folies Bergere.
At that time her meeting with trombonist Ben Van Hille was to play a decisive role in her carreer. Together they created the band Robyn Bennett & Bang Bang, recorded the first cover songs and in 2013 the first album with original songs titled "The Wait". The collection "The song is you" followed, which was released in last April and has been influenced by jazz, although pop music plays also an important role.
The program combines the older aesthetics with modern orchestrations. She is coming back to our country to present adaptations of jazz, swing, soul, funk and rock as well as songs from her personal albums.
