"I want people to think of me as an artist directly connected with the musical history of jazz guitar, who at the same time expands his musical boundaries," says John Abercrombie.
The American jazz guitarist, composer and bandleader has studied at Berklee College of Music in Boston. He has collaborated with musicians such as Billy Cobham, Jack DeJohnette, Michael Brecker and Randy Brecker and is one of the important figures of the music scene.
