Son of the legendary Cuban musician Ibrahim Ferrer, Ibrahim Ferrer Jr. has played with bands such as "Afro Cuban All Star", "Los Bocucos", "Ochungueres" and others.
He lives in Buenos Aires since 1999 having made a solo career and has toured across the country. He has participated in major festivals in Argentina such as Cosquin and Codigo Pais. He has also appeared in other countries such as Italy, Switzerland, France etc.
His music is a bridge between Cuba and Argentina. His first album was titled "Son para Ti" and the second one "Al son de un Homenaje" with which he won the Gardel Prize in 2008. His latest work is "Mio Muy Mio" and was presented in 2013.
