After a similar successful older performance at Ronnie Scott's titled "Nina Simone Songbook" Gill Manly comes to our country to present songs interpreted by Nina Simone.
She has appeared many times in musical scenes and concert halls in London, while her mentors have been artists such as Eartha Kitt, Mark Murphy, Tony Bennett. She has a big repertoire and a unique style, which gave her own place in music and a fanatic audience.
She presented her first album in 1995 titled "Detour Ahead", the second one "With a song in my heart" in 2009. The last one "The Lies of Handsome Men" was released in 2012 and consists of favorite songs of composers such as Michel Legrand, Dave Frishberg, Dudley Moore.
