Penny & The Swingin’ Cats meet the American composer and guitarist Adam Levy, who is known for his collaborations with famous names in the global music industry. These include Norah Jones (her first three albums), Tracy Chapman (New Beginning), Amos Lee (Amos Lee), Ani DiFranco (¿Which Side Are You On?), Anaïs Mitchell (Young Man in America). He comes for the first time in Greece, in Thessaloniki on 11th March and in Athens on 13th.
In the first part of the concert Penny & The Swingin’ Cats will present songs from their album RETRO such as “Last night” of Costas Giannidis and “Coucou” of Django Reinhardt, in a Greek interpretation of lyrics by Penny Baltatzi, as well as selections from their new album that has not yet been released such as “Exotic Blend”.
Adam Levy will perform songs from his discography and in the latter part of the program he will play along with Penny & The Swingin’ Cats songs from the discography of Norah Jones.
