Apurimac & Martha Moreleon

Apurimac was formed in 1983, when the music of Latin America in Greece had a small audience. During the thirty years of their career they were established both with their discography and their concerts.

They use traditional instruments with a variety of tones and combine the subtle nuances of Indian traditional music of the Andes, with the dynamism of the Afro-Cuban rhythm of the Caribbean.

In their program they will present music and songs from their albums, adaptations of Greek and foreign composers, known traditional melodies and rhythms from Latin America.

Apurimac consists of :

DANIEL ARMANDO ( Argentina ) : percussion, Indian woodwinds, guitar, vocals

TAKIS VARELAS : bass

PEDRO FABIAN CORDOVA ( Peru) : percussion , Indian woodwinds and strings, vocals

MAKIS PAPAGAVRIEL : guitar, percussion, vocals

STAVROS LINOS : keyboards, percussion

DIMITRIS KARAYIANNIS : alto, soprano, tenor saxophone, percussion

VANGELIS KATSARELIS : trumpet, percussion

Together with them Martha Moreleón, the Mexican singer that charms with her interpretation and presentation of the songs.
