One of the great ladies in jazz with a forty years career, Grammy and Tony Awards winner, she has enchanted us with her performances. On Valentine’s day she returns to Greece to give the color, she only knows how.
Dee Dee Bridgewater will perform songs from two different albums, "Midnight Sun" (2011) and "Eleanora Fagan (1915-1959): To Billie with Love from Dee Dee Bridgewater'' which last was released in 2009 and won the Grammy award in 2011.
In "Midnight Sun", as she said, love is shown in all its glory, just as it was presented so many years ago, by all those excellent composers, whose songs have marked the history of world music.
In "Eleanora Fagan (1915-1959): To Billie with Love from Dee Dee Bridgewater'', she pays a tribute to Billie Holiday, with the necessary respect for herself and the composers who wrote the songs. With her excellent musicians, the "band of her dreams'', as she calls it, she presents these songs in a different way, happier and with a thankful trend to the legendary singer, for her work and the inspiration she has given to artists, having marked their art and musical course.
