They have linked musically the bouzouki of Tsitsanis and Chiotis with the gypsy swing guitar of Django Reinhardt.
“Crazy Balamos” (Gadjo Dilo), discover the memories and flavors of our land, guided by the harmony of every piece of music they want to adapt or by conceiving the lyrics in a different manner and presenting same through a new melody. The key role is played by gypsy jazz, the purpose of each of their adaptations is not the imitation, but the experimentation of pre-existing material, aiming to a different narrative. Their album “Manouche De Grec”, includes 12 adaptations of favorite Greek songs such as “Peftis se lathi” , “Alla mou len ta matia sou”, Irtha ki apopse sta skalopatia sou” and more.
They participated in two Balkans festivals in summer, Bansko International Jazz Festival in Bulgaria and Nisville International Jazz Festival in Serbia, that gave them a unique experience.
