She was born in the U.S.A. and raised in France. Daughter of legendary Dee Dee Bridgewater and Gilbert Moses she has released five personal albums, since she was aged 16, while she does not hesitate to experiment with musical genres, which at first sight appear inconsistent with her views.
Her activities range from theater to shows and TV ending up in the establishment of her personal production company. Her career resulted to a project that has enjoyed great success. A year ago she was responsible for the production of “Crazy Blues” and demonstrated her affection to her major musical influences.
Songs of significant Ladies of the global scene Dinah Washington, Nina Simone, Donna Summer, Janis Joplin, Etta James and others are performed in special adaptations by China Moses and her musicians, who want to present something new based on the artistic splendor of these performers.
