Katerine Duska was born and lived in Canada, but her roots are Greek. Her musical influences are multicultural, while Beatles and Nina Simone have a special place among her standards.
Ray Charles, Marvin Gaye, Billie Holiday and a deep love for the musical greatness of Hadjidakis, Theodorakis, Plessas, Xarchakos, whom she was listening since she was a kid, compose her musical background that follows R & B, Soul and Jazz paths.
