December 8th is the 70th anniversary of Jim Morrison’s birth. One day before, for those who love “The Lizard King” and The Doors, The Indian Sunset will present a musical tribute to the band that marked generations.
They gathered for the first time in Scalea of S. Italy in September 2010, in order to reproduce not only the sound of The Doors, but the general atmosphere of their music as well. Vincenzo Oliva, Alessio Bannò, Andrea Crusco and Antonio Caracciolo formed “The Indian Sunset” and in a short time they managed to become a successful band.
They play with the same instruments used by Τhe Doors during their concerts. Keys Gibson G101, a piano bass Fender Rhodes, one Gibson guitar and a microphone EV 676.
They appeared in concerts both in domestic music scenes and in Festivals abroad such as “Feast of Friends Party 2012”, a meeting- tribute of the Italian official Fan club: TheDoors.it, European festival- tribute to Jim Morrison, Ray Manzarek, Robby Krieger and John Densmore in Magdeburg, Germany.
