Gregorian have given concerts in arenas and churches in several countries in Europe , Asia and Middle East. This time they come for the first time in our country , as part of their tour “The Epic Chants Tour 2013” which started in February and will be completed in April 2014 . They present their latest work “Epic Chants”, with songs from famous movies. Singers-8 men and 2 women- and a 6-member band, dressed in monks’ velvet suits appear in a special show with lighting effects, projections, special effects with mirrors, fog, smoke, candles and other surprises.

They were formed in the Royal Monastery of Escorial in Spain. Frank Peterson listened to rock on his walkman, wanderings in medieval corridors of the monastery, while the sound of the choir was mixing with music. He began to experiment with the idea of combining rock music with the sounds of Gregorian chant and the experiment became a reality in 1990 with “Enigma”, which was realized by him and Michael Cretu.

Τhe album Enigma, “MCMXC AD” sold over 14 million copies, and made Gregorian known, with “Sadeness Pt. I” as a big success. This showed the way for the release of the album “Gregorian Masters of Chant” in 1999.

The following years Gregorian made ​​over 200 recordings and sold about 6 million copies in more than 16 countries. They interpret with their own way songs of known bands and artists such as:
