Trilogia consist of three of the most prominent representatives of the Greek jazz scene, drummer George Trantalidis, guitarist Giotis Samaras and George Kontrafouris in hammond.
Three musicians who need no introduction. We have known them for years for their personal recordings or their collaborations with various musicians.
George Trantalidis began his career 43 years ago. He collaborated with Socrates Drank the Conium and the Sphinx. He combined Greek traditional music with jazz and recorded as a producer his own albums, as well as other productions of Greek and foreign artists.
Panagiotis Samaras was born in Budapest. At an early age he appeared in the Hungary jazz scene and played with musicians such as Tony Lakatos. In 1981 he came to Greece and collaborated with many artists participating in recordings and concerts.
George Kontrafouris became interested in jazz since he was sixteen. He has worked as a pianist or organist with musicians such as Arild Andersen, Markus Stockhausen, Louisiana Red, Keith Copeland, Andy Sheppard, Lou Donaldson, Sam Newsome, Deborah Davies, Carmen Lundy, Sheila Jordan, etc.
