I wrote most of the songs of Delos Project wanting to talk about the encounters of life that transform us.
As painful as these transformations may be, they always hide inside the joy of the next movement, the new life.
Like the butterfly emerging from the cocoon.
Many timbres and rhythms are the main components of Delos project.
The electric blues guitar that takes us from Mali to America, African rhythms, echoes of Eastern tradition.
Lyrics that appeared by themselves in English and in Greek, talk about those moments when time stops and you realize that it is possible to be the one you really wanted to be, not the one you were forced to be.
In collaboration with George Palamiotis we directed musically all these elements, inspired by special artists that pushed us to risk unexpected mixes.
We took a walk the desert blues in the streets of Istanbul, drunk with Indian melodies and we danced frantically with gospel from Ipiros.
Not for any other reason .. but just to tell you about this secret life that sometimes manifests in one night ... in a click .. as Delos of the myth.
