She is called the successor of Amalia Rodrigues, the singer who was her inspiration. She has affixed her personal seal on the history of traditional songs of her country. Misia interprets in her own way fate, destiny, what the word fado means in Portugal. Her career lasting over 20 years, has given us a lot of records and has won several awards.
In her program she will not only sing fado. Its title is “Delikatessen” and we will listen to a collection of songs she loves and affected her. With this unique musical menu Misia along with Fabrizio Romano, Neapolitan composer and pianist will present selected songs of great artists, such as Nino Rota, Edith Piaf, Dalida, Bas Basa, Amalia Rodrigues, Astor Piazzolla, Carlos Paredes, traditional songs of Naples and a Greek song.
