Just before the summer of 2012, through the sounds of John Scofield, Jaco Pastorius, Marcus Miller, Yellow Jackets and so many other legends of world music scene, App Groove were born. The band that was created by Nikos Kalantzakos (drums), Grigoris Flessas (keyboards), Savvas Christodoulou (el. Guitar) and Yiotis Kiourtsoglou (bass), with basic feature the absolute "chemistry" and their goal to "deposit" their own interpretation of aesthetics, the sound and musicality of things today.
Each of them individually has had a long history in the Greek music scene, with a significant contribution in recordings and live performances of great Greek artists within and beyond our borders.
Through years of experience App Groove come to put their own stamp on familiar music Funk, Soul, Jazz and R & B tracks and to show us their own compositions as well.
