Desafinados were formed by Miranda Verouli in 2003 and consist of a group of jazz musicians with great love for Brazilian music. They play with improvisational mood bossa nova, samba, MPB (musica popular brasileira), baião, forró, frevo.
Miranta Verouli is a singer and songwriter with a long presence in Greek jazz and world stage and collaborations with Nikko Patrelakis and Mariana de Moraes. Her presence with local musicians during her long stays in Brazil, combined with her jazz education, has developed a unique authentic interpretation of the Brazilian repertoire.
Together with them Andreas Polyzogopoulos, a notable musician of his generation with a significant course in the European jazz scene.
