Film music program directed by David Lynch to coincide with the album “This Train” which was released in September 2011. In this he presents his new muse Chrysta Bell.
“She looks like a dream and sings dreamily. It's a dream world that's real” he has said.
The uncompromising director has been working on the technique of dream and nightmare, both in the TV series “Twin Peaks” and in cinema in films such as “Blue Velvet”, “Mulholland Drive”, “Wild at Heart” and others, as well as in music. His influence on Chrysta Bell goes back to when she was little and watched bewitched in television the “Twin Peaks”.
“It was the theme song from Twin Peaks that literally opened me up to a new realm of what music was in my life”, she has said.
The musical play “David Lynch presents Chrysta Bell” has excited the audience, wherever presented so far.
“I trusted the direction and intuition. It was an amazing experience to work with someone so true to his artistic vision”, said Chrysta Bell with the ethereal voice, letting the music speak through, feeling to be penetrated and as David Lynch has said “She was born to sing and be on stage”.
The concert is opened by YIANNEIS, a band of six musicians, who start the music and present their own show.
YIANNEIS: Lambros Filippou, Nikos Zantes, Nikitas Kissonas, Dimitris Petrakis, Ilya Algaer, Aris Kallergis
