Wonky Doll and the Echo were created in mid 2010. They presented their first work on September 3, 2012 titled “Pleasant thoughts”. It was released on vinyl (300 limited copies) and in electronic format (mp3/flac). The album received rave reviews in the press and on the Internet in Greece and Germany (Sonic Seducer Magazine etc.). Their music is characterized as a mixture of post-punk, indie rock, shoegaze and 80's while incorporating aesthetic elements of modern alternative scene.
They have given concerts and continue their live performances with songs that have distinguished themselves from the “Pleasant thoughts” and unreleased material.
Before their appearance in BIOS the short film by Costas Gounaris will be displayed “Getting my Penis Back” based on Greek comic.
When the trumpets of love spell the end, the gap is large. You have to collect the last bit of your lost self, before you start your next trip ...
