The creator of masterpieces “Time of the Gypsies”, “Underground”, “When Father Was Away on Business”, “Arizona Dream”, the filmmaker who loves music, comes with his band for a concert series, where the modern sounds meet the Balkan festival.
Famous film director, actor, singer and musician Emir Kusturica brings in his luggage exactly what he just showed in his films and he loved the most: the sound of Balkan brass, violins and grancassa, married perfectly with the mood of the electric rock guitar.
He presents the music in terms of timeless and nomadic folk melodies that transcend boundaries uniting aesthetic and cultural tribes, places and times, melodies of the soul, artistic forms. Unique music as a part of the everyday life of some cultures with lyrics and notes to recount their experiences and history, or paint their dreams for the future.
