Second-generation Asian immigrants who met in London in 1993 at London's Farringdon Community Music House, for a series of summer workshops designed to teach the children of Asian immigrants music technology.
Their music is “a blend of ragga-jungle rhythms, indo-dub bass, sitar-inspired guitars and traditional sounds from the collections of their parents” as they write in their personal site. Their lyrics are political, caustic, against racism and are a commentary on the everyday problems of the immigrants.
Their first album was the “Facts and Fictions” which was launched in 1995 . Since then a series of special records followed such as “Rafi's Revenge”, “Enemy of the Enemy”, the “Punkara” and others, to their latest “A History of Now”. They collaborated with other artists such as Sinead O'Connor and Iggy Pop and gave many concerts in various parts of the world, among them in our country.
