From the greatest dancers of flamenco and Andalusian dance tradition generally Leonor Leal combined classical ballet 's and Spanish studies, but what ultimately attracted her was flamenco.
She “built” her personal career solidly next to major teachers of this music and dance idiom such as Manolo Marin, Pilar Ortega, Juan Parra, Ana Maria Lopez and others. Antonio “El Pipa” gave her further impetus pulling her in big theaters, but the real professional and artistic recognition came when she collaborated with the renowned flamenco dancer Cristina Hoyos.
Today she continues to develop her art and critics acclaim her for her specific style and the immediacy on stage. With a reputation constantly spreading she appears in great performances around the world and in the most famous clubs in Spain, working with major artists of her country such as “El Grilo”, Angeles Gabaldon, Javier Baron, while she also teaches at the flamenco schools of Hoyos or “Antonio El Pipa”.
